J&K witnesses unprecedented development after abrogation of Art 370: Raina

SAMBA, Apr 7: Ravinder Raina, president BJP Jammu & Kashmir, today launched cleanliness drive at Purmandal which is popularly known as Chota Kashi.
Speaking on the occasion, Raina said that Purmandal is a historical sacred place of Hindus, which has its mention in Kalhana’s Rajtarangni, as well as in Hindu epic books, and has remained a well known place for pilgrims from the ancient times.
Speaking over the Samajik Nayay Saptah in connection with Party’s Foundation Day celebrations, Raina said after 42 years of journey we feel indebted to the veteran leaders who contributed in raising its seats from 2 to 300 in the Lok Sabha. He said that today BJP is the largest party of the world and connected firmly to the people of this nation. He asserted that today J&K witnessing unprecedented development after abrogation of Art 370 is a result of the sacrifices of the leaders like Shyama Prasad Mookerjee.
He said that BJP and Central Government headed by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi stand fully committed for the development of Jammu and Kashmir. The unprecedented overall development of J&K witnessed today is the result of this sincere commitment of BJP led Government at the Centre for the progress and prosperity of this sensitive UT and its people, he added.
After performing Pooja at Uma Pati Mahadev Mandir and conducting cleanliness drive of Devika stream, Ravinder Raina interacted with the locals with a message to every age group to be a part of this cleanliness programme and make their participation in keeping Jammu Kashmir clean and green.
Meanwhile, BJYM Jammu & Kashmir under the leadership of Arun Prabhat conducted various cleanliness/awareness programmes across Jammu & Kashmir. Several cleanliness and awareness drives were conducted by Arun Prabhat at AAP Shambu (Roopnagar), Shiv Temple Opposite RRL Lab (Jewal), and Devika River -Purmandal Shri Kashi Vishwanath Ji.
Arun Prabhat said that BJP Youth Wing has started these drives across J&K, with a clear message of improving sustainable way of living and it is us the youth of the J&K who has to take the stand and lead from the front.
BJYM media in charge and Prabhari party’s KDD Youth Wing Chetan Wanchoo led a cleanliness drive at Jagti township. He highlighted various pro poor policies of Modi Government and cautioned the displaced people about the elements who are misleading the community for their vested interests. The drive was launched by BJP KDD Youth Wing, district president Rohit Ganjoo.
