J&K wins bronze in 37th National Jr Taekwondo C’ship

JAMMU, Jan 6: J&K won bronze medal in the 37th National Junior Taekwondo Championships held at Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh.
35 affiliate Units from different States and Union Territories participated in 3-days National Championship.
It is pertinent to mentioned that Afreen won first ever gold medal in her respective weight category in the CBSE Nationals and bronze medal in SGFI under-19 girls earlier, besides excellence of many Taekwondo players at the National scene.
Winners were honoured by the Secretary J&K State Sports Council, Waheed-Ur-Rehman Parra in Jammu after their return from Bilaspur.
