J&K State Cycling Championship concludes

SAMBA, Mar 7: J&K State Cycling Championship, organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Cycling Association concluded at Vijaypur here today.
Ravinder Singh, President of the Association distributed prizes among the winners in the valedictory function in presence of Parveen Singal, President Muskaan Foundation, who was the guest of honour.
The Championship was sponsored by Jammu and Kashmir State Sports Council and organized by Cycling Association under the aegis of Cycling Federation of India and J&K Olympic Association.
The technical conduct of the Championship was supervised by Om Prakash, Karan, Ajay Kumar, Sourabh Attri, Dipesh Badyal, Gurpreet Singh, Goutam Sharma, Vikesh Kumar, Shubham and Mushtaq Ahmed.
The dignitaries present during the concluding function included Rajan Sharma, Neel Kamal and SS  Gill, Geenral Secretary of the Association.
Earlier, in Under-12 boys Road, Dishant Kumar of Samba bagged gold and Gourav Kohli of Samba won silver, while Sandeep Badgal and Arihan Bhagat claimed bronze medals, while in Under-14 boys MTB, Arshdeep Singh of Jammu, Pushpinder Singh of Samba and Bhanu Pratap of Samba clinched gold, silver and bronze medals respectively.
In Under-14 boys Road, Akash Sharma of Samba, Vivek Rathore of Samba and Showkat Ali of Samba won gold, silver and bronze medals respectively.
In Under-17 boys MTB, Raman Manhas of Jammu, Harsh Singh of Samba and Shabir Ahmed Dar of Baramulla clinched gold, silver and bronze medals respectively, while in Under-17 boys Road, Mohmiss Ismail of Samba, Mashooq Maqbool of Samba and Sheikh Saqibal of Samba won gold, silver and bronze medals respectively.
