JAMMU, May 3: J&K Sikh Societies Amalgamate flayed the forces playing politics of hate and dividing the people on communal and regional lines.
While speaking, chief patron of the Amalgamate, Gurdeep Singh Sasan said that Sikhism believes in secularism and respects all the religions and believes in casteless society.
Expressing his serious concern over the mischievous and malicious propaganda of BJP and PDP of dividing the society, he said that this Parliamentary election is different from previous ones because there is ideological war between the forces who believe in secularism, democracy, peaceful co-existence, equal development of all the three regions of the State.
The members unanimously condemned the unwanted uncalled, unethical and derogatory remarks of Baba Ramdev against dalits and said this speaks of the mindset of the Baba Ramdev against downtrodden and depressed section of the society.
The participants demanded stern action against Baba Ramdev so that in future no one dares to disrespect dalits, women and hurt their sentiments.
