JAMMU, May 2: Jammu and Kashmir today reported 45 more COVID-19 positive cases, 33 from Jammu division and 12 from Kashmir valley.
The maximum number of 24 cases was reported from Jammu district, followed by 3 each from Udhampur and Ganderbal, 2 each from Samba, Budgam, Pulwama and Anantnag districts and 1 each from Rajouri, Doda, Kathua, Ramban, Baramulla, Kulgam and Bandipora.
According to the reports, a total of 1,679 COVID tests were conducted in the Union Territory during last 24 hours. The number of active COVID cases in the UT as on date is 286– 179 in Jammu division and 107 in Kashmir region whereas 46 COVID patients recovered today, 24 from Jammu division and 22 from Kashmir.
The highest number of 136 active cases is in Jammu district, followed by 22 in Baramulla, 17 in Srinagar, 13 in Budgam, 11 each in Ganderbal and Doda districts, 10 in Samba, 9 each in Pulwama and Ramban, 8 each in Kupwara, Bandipora, Shopian and Udhampur districts, 7 in Anantnag, 4 each in Kulgam and Kathua, and 1 case in Rajouri district.
