JAMMU, May 29: A JK Public School teacher got electrocuted when the school bus she was traveling in came in contact with live-wires in village Majwal of tehsil Bishnah.
As per police sources, a bus of JK Public School, Kunjwani was on its way to drop a school teacher namely Ranjna Devi, wife of Hemant Rajesh of Sarore to her residence, when the bus came in contact with live wires at village Majwal in Bishnah.
In the incident, teacher received over 20 per cent burn injuries and was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where she was undergoing treatment, when reports last came in.
Driver of the vehicle namely Sham Singh, son of Pritam Singh of Kullian, Ratnuchack also received minor burns in the incident and was discharged after first-aid.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at Bishnah police station and investigation started.
