J&K | Property Attached In Drug Trafficking Case

SRINAGAR, Apr 22: Police in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian district on Wednesday attached a property allegedly acquired through proceeds of drug trafficking, officials said.
The property, a double-storey house valued at Rs 31.65 lakh, belongs to Mohammad Yousuf Bhat, a resident of Vishroo Payeen Keller in south Kashmir, a police spokesperson said.
He said the property was identified as having been acquired through proceeds generated from the illegal trade of drugs and narcotics.
The attachment was conducted in connection with an FIR registered at Keller police station, the spokesperson said. (Agencies)
