JAMMU : Apart from specially designed tableaux, cultural items and other shows, ten-member women team of Dare Devils of Jammu and Kashmir Police will be the highlight during the Republic Day celebrations in this winter capital of the state.
This will be for the first time, a women team will be displaying their daredevil acts and performing live at Maulana Azad Stadium amid the presence of thousands of audience. “Ten member women team has been trained for the first time and they will be performing along with the Dare Devil team of men during the Republic Day,” Des Raj, one of the instructors, told UNI.
“In only two-week time, the girls have been readied to perform and display their skills,” he said. The women team was trained at Channi Himmat training centre, he said and added they would also be taking part in other activities of the police.
