JAMMU, Apr 28: Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbag Singh led the Jammu and Kashmir Police personnel in showing the solidarity with Corona warriors across the nation in the lawns of Police headquarters here today.
Saluting COVID-19 warriors Senior Police officers of PHQ and APHQ, police officers of Jammu district, Commandants of Jammu based Armed/IRP Battalions, doctors from Police Hospital Jammu and Police personnel of PHQ and APHQ gathered in the lawns of PHQ to show their solidarity with the front line fighters against the Coronavirus.
ADGPs Dr B. Srinivas, AK Choudhary, Deepak Kumar, SJM Gillani, Abdul Ghani Mir, IGPs Dr SD Singh Jamwal, T Namgyal, Mukesh Singh, Danesh Rana, Garib Dass, Alok Kumar, DIGs, SSPs and other Jammu based GOs participated in the solidarity Sammelan.
The officers were holding different placards on different themes including the ones showing solidarity with the fellow Policemen, doctors, municipal workers and other Corona warriors.
Similar, Sammelans were held by all the district police and Armed/IRP police units of J&K Police at their respective locations.
In Kashmir Zone IGP Kashmir led a Solidarity Sammelan held at District Police Lines Srinagar. DIG CKR and SSP Srinagar participated in the Sammelan and expressed their solidarity with the fellow Corona warriors. Budgam Police in function show their solidarity with the front line warriors. At Kulgam Police organised an event in expressing their thanks to the frontline fighters against COVID-19. District Police Ganderbal organized a solidarity event for forefront warriors who fight against COVID-19 under the banner “Protectors and Saviours stand as one for our Nation”. Similar events were organized in the District Police Lines of Anantnag, Awantipora and Shopian. At Bandipora Police organized a rally in solidarity with Corona Virus warriors. At district Police lines Handwara Sammelan was organized to express solidarity with the fellow Corona Warriors of the country. A Solidarity function was also organized at DPL Baramulla. Police district Sopore in function expressed their solidarity with the fellow Policemen, Doctors, Paramedic staff and essential services providers. Railway Police Kashmir zone organized a function at all GRP stations and at Zonal Railway Police headquarters to express solidarity with the fellow countrymen.
In Jammu zone, District Police Jammu organized an event in the DPL Jammu. SSP Jammu Sridhar Patil led the Solidarity Sammelan to express their gratitude to the Corona warriors of the country. District Police Samba also organized an event to show solidarity with the frontline fighters against COVID. Udhampur Police shows their solidarity with the corona warriors by holding placards with motivational quotations. Women battalion IRP 15th also organized an event to express their solidarity with the Corona warriors. IRP 19th Battalion also shows their solidarity with the corona warriors at Battalion Headquarters. Security Headquarters J&K also held Solidarity Parade conducted in gratitude of corona warriors in the country. District Police Reasi holds solidarity gathering across all the police establishments of District Reasi. Police, civil administration and health officers paid respect to the frontline workers in Rajouri and Nowshera.
