An emergency meeting of the District Udhampur unit of All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers’ Forum was held at Udhampur under the chairmanship of Ashok Sharma, District, District President of the Forum.In the meeting the members condemned the incident that took place on August 4, 2017 when some miscreants assaulted the Principal of Govt.Hr.Sec.School, Kiya (Ramnagar).The victim Principal said that has lodged a written complaint at Ramnagar Police Station in this respect.The members demanded that a thorough probe must be conducted into the incident and book the culprits to prevent the recurrence of such cases against the officers and teachers of the Education Department in future so that they can discharge their duties in a fearless manner.They warned that in case no action is taken against the culprits responsible for the assault on the said Principal, the Forum will launch strong course of action to get justice for the said Principal.
