Addressing election rallies at various places in Kathua today Thakur said “The people of J&K have joined the BJP because of the forward looking and development oriented agenda under PM Modi. In the last six years transformation has taken place in all sectors and regions. J&K has greatly benefited from the infrastructure and developmental projects initiated under Modi Government. No stone will be left unturned to transform this region into a progressive and peaceful place for citizens and investors. Measures taken by Modi Government are being supported by the common man and that is why they are showing their support for BJP by joining in large numbers,” he added.
Thakur further said, “J&K will witness a transformation in trade, transportation and tourism because of the vision shown by the BJP under the decisive leadership of PM Modi.”
“The era of darkness under PDP and NC is over,. The era of prosperity and progress has begun,” he added.
He said J&K people believe in ballot and not the politics of bullet. This is the reason that large number of people came out despite COVID Pandemic to cast their vote to reject the separatist and divisive politics of the tormentors of people. It is with the pro public policies and approach of the BJP that membership of party has grown over the years tremendously, he added.
Thakur said “Today the people have seen the real face of the Gupkar Gang which is neck deep in the Roshni land scam. The land grabbers have been exposed and their hollow promises rejected. The DDC elections will pave the way for a period of trust and transformation in J&K,” he added.
J&K BJP vice-president Yudhvir Sethi, party programme incharge Ajay Pargal and Media incharge Dr. Pardeep Mahotra were also present on the occasion.
Earlier in the presence of MoS Finance & Corporate Affairs and Election Incharge J&K, Anurag Thakur, the Nationalist Youth Congress State president, Shivdev Singh along with a large number of Sarpanchs joined the BJP at party headquarters Jammu today.
