J&K NHM delegation meets Union Health Minister, Mission Director

JAMMU, Sept 30: A delegation of All JK NHM Employees’ Association met Union Health Minister Harshvardhan at its office chamber in New Delhi and submitted a memorandum of demands.
The delegation led by Rohit Seth, president of the Association, apprised the Union Minister about the negotiations done by the Association with the Jammu and Kashmir Government during strikes and agitations in the past years which have not been fulfilled till date.
The Union Health Minister patiently listened to the delegation and telephonically asked the Mission Director, NHM, Government of India, Manoj Jhalani, to look into the issues of J&K NHM employees.
Thereafter, the delegation met Manoj Jhalani and tabled all the documents pertaining to negotiations with J&K Government for his consideration. The Mission director assured the delegation that their all pending demands shall be taken up with the State Government through proper channel.
Indu Nair (National executive member, Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh), Dr Raman Kumar Sharma (general secretary, All JK NHM Employees’ Association), Dr Arun Deol (senior vice-president, All JK NHM Employees’ Association) and Mohit Seth (vice-president, All JK NHM Employees’ Association) were part of the delegation.
