JK Montessorie British School conducts Talent Hunt Contest

JAMMU, Aug 31: JK Montessorie British School conducted a Talent Hunt Contest for the students to enhance their higher order thinking skills in collaboration with “Hero Cycles” in school premises here today.
Students were categorized in different groups. Class 2nd to 5th students participated in the painting competition. Their theme was “Rang Baro” in given sketches.
Students of class 6th to 8th participated in quiz competition on the topic “Benefits of cycling”. For class 9th to 12th students, a slogan writing competition on the topic “Pedal for a better World” was organized.
The students participated with great interest, zeal and enthusiasm in this contest. The competition was adjudged on the basis of their creativity. The best ones were honoured by the judges namely Ayra Sharma and Arjun Gupta from class 4th, Madhav Verma from class 5th, Manveer Singh, Arushi Koul, Anurag and Devansh Gupta from class 8th, Akhil Mahajan from class 11th and Aaina Sharma from class 12th respectively.
Managing Director Sanjeev Gupta, Director Academics Rajni Gupta, Vice Principal Geeta Dixit, HR Manager Pankaj Pathania and Coordinator Vandana Gupta were present on the occasion.
The main aim of the contest was to deliver the message of  “eco-friendly travelling” which can be done through bicycles.
