J&K LSA organizes moot court competition in JU

JAMMU, Nov 10: J&K Legal Services Authority under the aegis of National Legal Services Authority and guidance and direction of Justice Ali Mohd. Magrey (Executive Chairman, J&K LSA) and member Secretary, M.K. Sharma today organized a moot court competition at Seminar Hall, Computer Sciences Department, University of Jammu in collaboration with the Law School.
The Moot Court competition was adjudged by Yahya Firdous (Sub-Judge) Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Jammu and Rajni Sharma (Sub-Judge) Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Udhampur.
The programme was also attended by senior faculty of the Law School including Director, The Law School Prof. Manju Jamwal, Dr Seema Sharma, Dr. Monica Narang, Dr Seema Rohmetra and Rajneesh Khajuria, all senior faculty of The Law School.
The programme successfully culminated with the announcement of the winner team from The Law School, University of Jammu. Later trophies and certificates to the winning team and the participants were presented.
Prof. Manju Jamwal thanked Yahya Firdous and Rajni Sharma, for organizing the moot court competition and enriching the students about the working of the courts.
