JAMMU, Mar 8: J&K Grameen Bank has made another stride by setting up an independent Information and Technology Department (ITD) at its Head Office, here at Narwal today.
Parvez Ahmed, Executive president, J&K Bank (Sponsor Bank) inaugurated the new unit in the presence of Bank management and head office staff members.
While speaking on the occasion, Parvez Ahmed appreciated the role of Bank management for providing latest infrastructure to its IT team and expressed the hope that IT team will make its best use and provide better back end support to its branches / operational units. This will in turn result in providing best possible customer service and as a consequence of the same faith of the clients will grow with the result business of the Bank will also grow in the same fashion.
Vagish Chander Chairman of J&K Grameen Bank conveyed its gratitude to the management of its sponsor Bank (J&K) Branch for encouragement, an adequate and timely support for setting up this independent Department to HO level and assured chief guest that with these initiatives, the Bank will further be strengthened and grow rapidly in years to come.
