JAMMU, Mar 2: The Government today ordered constitution of a committee for promotion of ‘ One Nation, One Ration Card’ Plan in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
Chief Secretary has been nominated as Chairman of the Committee while Administration Secretary, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department as Member Secretary of the panel.
The four other members of the Committee are-Financial Commissioner (Addl CS), Finance Deptt; Financial Commissioner (Addl CS) Home Deptt; Administrative Secretary, Labour & Employment Deptt and Administrative Secretary, Social Welfare Department. The Committee shall quarterly review the trends, innovations and implementation of the ‘One Nation, One Ration Card’ Plan in J&K UT.
