POONCH, Nov 23: Maintaining that BJP will change the developmental scenario in J&K, former Minister and Party national spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain today said that if voted to power the BJP Government will weed out terrorism completely from the State and convert it into a tourist hub for its overall development.
Addressing massive poll rallies at Mendhar, Surankote and Mandi in border district of Poonch today, he said terrorism which has eaten up vitals of the State over last 25 years will be completely weeded out and J&K will be made a tourist hub of the country to take it on the path of development.
The BJP leader said that Muslims are more safe and prosperous in India than Pakistan and in last over 60 years of independence the Indian Muslims have progressed more than those who opted for Pakistan.
Warning Pakistan, he said it will never succeed in its vicious designs against India. Instead of meddling in the affairs of India, the Pakistan should concentrate on its own problems, he added.
He ruled out that Pakistan will succeed in disturbing poll process in the State and warned that India can strongly curb such activities.
The BJP spokesperson said India wants to have good neighborly relations with Pakistan and the neighboring country has to reciprocate in the same way.
Denying that BJP’s poll prospects will be affected due to joining of dissidents into fray, he said that Party has given them a stern warning and two dissidents have been already expelled. The individuals have no importance over Party and this should be borne by them in mind.
He said Party symbol is supreme and individuals have no value as they can’t hit poll prospects of the Party.
Exuding confidence that BJP will get full majority in the State to form the next Government, Shahnawaz said that it will get six to ten seats more than 44+ Mission of the Party as happened in Lok Sabha elections where Party got 11 seats more than 272 + Mission.
Making a scathing attack on the Congress, NC and PDP he said three families Nehru -Gandhi family, Abdullah family and Mufti Family ruled at Centre and the State and were responsible for the present plight of the masses. The State suffered a lot over the years and it got nothing, he added.
The BJP leader said now Prime Minster Narendera Modi has come with a slogan that Sabka Saath and Sabka Vikas (Support of all and progress of all) and people have given him a good response every where. He said Mr Modi is becoming more popular in J&K than Mehbooba Mufti of PDP and Omar Abdullah of NC and people of State have developed a lot of trust and faith in him.
He said turning up of large number of Muslims in these rallies is a testimony to the fact that there is BJP wave in the State and people want that Narendera Modi’s Party should rule the State to rid it from corruption and years long dynastic rule.
