JK Colony facing water crisis

JAMMU, July 5: J K Colony Welfare Committee has expressed grave concern over the scarcity of drinking water in the J K Colony and warned agitation in case the water supply was not restored immediately.
In a statement issued here, today the Committee said that for last one week, the water supply has been disrupted in the area and despite repeated pleas the authorities have failed to restore the same.
The Committee in an appeal to PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control Minister, Ch Sham Lal has sought his immediate intervention in the matter. They also warned to block road in case water supply was not restored in the area.
