SRINAGAR:
Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed today expressed shock and grief over the terror attack in Punjab’s Gurdaspur, in which seven persons, including an SP, were killed while all the terrorists were gunned down after a day-long operation.
Condemning the attack, the Chief Minister called for greater cooperation and sharing of information between the states to counter such incidents in future which threaten the safety and security of the innocent people.
Extending support to his Punjab counterpart Parkash Singh Badal in this hour of grief, Sayeed said his prayers are with the families of those who lost their dear ones in the attack.
The Chief Minister conveyed his heart-felt sympathies to the bereaved families and prayed for peace to the departed souls. (AGENCIES)
