J&K Chartered Accountants conclude certificate course on Forensic Accounting

JAMMU, June 26: J&K Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India organized seven days certificate course on Forensic Accounting and Fraud Detection, which concluded here today.
The certificate course was organised to instill and enhance the Forensic Accounting and Fraud Detection skills of the members.
A team of experts from Delhi, Mumbai and Ahmedabad equipped the members with requisite knowledge and skills required to detect and prevent the cyber frauds in the financial sector. This included in depth knowledge about CAAT tools and techniques including advanced excel, softwares related to ethical hacking, case studies on recent frauds, discussion on types of red flags, types of fraud situations and Cyber Laws and Information Technology Act. Different topics were also assigned to the thirty nine participants, who will submit their research papers within fortnight.
CA Ajay Gupta, Chairman, CA Shalay Razdan, Vice Chairman, CA Anish Abrol, Secretary and CA Ashwani Khajuria, Executive Member of the branch were present at the concluding session of the course.
