JAMMU, Feb 26: J&K Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) elected its new team of office bearers of executive committee for the term 2015-2016.
CA Anil Sharma has been elected as the Chairman, CA Deepak Kapahi as Vice Chairman and CA Shalay Razdan as Secretary-cum-Treasurer.
CA Dalip K Kaul, CA Vikram Garg and CA Sandeep Pachnanda shall continue as members of the executive committee.
Meanwhile, ICAI organized a seminar on case laws on survey, search and seizure and taxation and Formation of NPO’s.
CA Rajat Mengi, was the guest faculty for the first technical session, who deliberated on the various case laws on survey, search and seizure under Income Tax Act.
Later, in the second technical Session, the topic of formation and taxation of Non Profit Organisations was dealt at length, by guest faculty from Delhi, CA Anil Aggarwal.
CA Vikram Garg, Chairman J&K Branch, delivered the inaugural address and emphasized on the importance of the topics of the seminar.
CA Shalay Razdan, Secretary J&K Branch of ICAI, conducted the proceedings and CA Anil Sharma, Treasurer presented the vote of thanks.
CA Dalip Kaul, Ex-Chairman and Member, CA Deepak Kapahi, Member, alongwith large number of Chartered Accountants participated in the seminar.
