J&K BJP leader survives accident after car collides with truck, driver arrested

JAMMU, July 25: Former minister of Jammu and Kashmir and Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) vice president Sham Lal Sharma survived an accident on Monday after his car collided with a truck. The incident was reported to have happened when the truck was coming from the opposition direction on the Akhnoor-Poonch road.
While Sharma is safe, four people, including his personal assistant and driver of the car sustained injuries in the accident.
According to SHO Akhnoor, Hilal Azhar, Sharma was in a Ford Endeavour and it was hit by the rashly driven truck.
The truck driver has been arrested.
