J&K Baseball Association elects office bearers

SRINAGAR, Nov 21: The election of office bearers of the J&K Baseball Association was held today under the supervision of J&K State Sports Council’s observer Nuzhat Ara (SOK) and Nusrat Gazala (SOC).
The newly elected team of J&K Baseball Association comprises Imran Abbas (president), Waheed Ur Rehman Para (chairman), Sabreena Jan (general secretary), Rattan Lal Sharma (joint secretary, Jammu province), Shahnawaz Hussain Mir (joint secretary, Kashmir province), Mohammad Shaffat Mir (vice-president, Kashmir province) and Jung Bahadur Singh (vice-president, Jammu province) and Tahir Shabnum (treasurer).
New office bearers were elected for the term of four years i.e., 2018 – 2022 subject to the provisions of constitution of the J&K Baseball Association. Elections were held under the model sports code of J&K State Sports Council.
