JK Bank organizes free medical camp

RAJOURI, June 20:  J&K Bank in collaboration with Medical Superintendent, Government District Hospital, Rajouri, organized a free medical checkup camp, here today.
The camp was inaugurated by FC Bhagat, District Development Commissioner, Rajouri, in the presence of Gurcharan Singh, Zonal Head Jammu West, J&K Bank, Chief Medical Officer Rajouri Dr ZA Shawl and Medical Superintendent Dr Arun Sharma.
Super Specilaist Doctors from Jammu Dr Adarsh Bhagat, Dr Arun Sharma, Dr Manoj Gupta, Dr Vipin Gupta, Dr Koushal Khajuria and other Paramedical staff from District Hospital Rajouri offered consultations, ECG and Glucose tests. Besides, free medicines were distributed to the poor patients.
Speaking on the occasion, DDC Rajouri suggested that the Bank should organize more such camps at far off places where medical facilities are not easily available. Zonal Head while interacting with the audience and media informed that Bank as a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility is taking various initiatives and today’s camp is also part of “Health for all” initiative launched by the Bank to celebrate its Platinum Jubilee.
During the course of camp more than 400 patients hailing from Rajouri town and nearby areas were provided free medical facilities.
