KATHUA, June 23: Carrying forward its ‘health for all’ mission as a part of platinum jubilee celebrations under the banner of corporate social responsibility, J&K Bank today organised a free medical camp at Bani here.
The camp was jointly inaugurated by the SDM Bani, Ranjeet Singh and the Bank’s vice president and Zonal Head, Jammu Central, Arvind Gupta, in the presence of the Bank’s cluster head Kathua, Suresh Kotwal, Block Medical Officer, RajinderKumar and other prominent citizens of the town.
Over 400 patients were rendered medical treatment at the camp. Eminent doctors from Government Medical College Jammu, Dr Harish Deng (Orthopedics), Dr R K Mengi (Ophthalmology), Dr Sorav (General Surgery), Dr Dushyant Chowdhary (Physician) and Dr Amardeep Singh (ENT) examined the patients.
The patients were also provided with free medicines.
Local MLA, Lal Chand, who visted the spot appreciated the Bank for conducting the camp in the remote area that had been deprived by the medical specialties.
