JAMMU, Oct 26: J&K Bank today inaugurated ATM at Manwal in district Udhampur.
The ATM was inaugurated by District Development Commissioner (DDC), Udhampur, Pandurang K Pole, which is 11th in the district, in presence of Bank’s Vice President and Zonal Head Jammu (North) MI Wani, Cluster Head, Udhampur, Iqbal Singh, customers, growers and other local residents.
Speaking on the occasion, Zonal Head highlighted the benefits of Kissan Credit Card scheme of the Bank.
DDC impressed upon the people to avail benefits of various Bank products and Government sponsored schemes.
He also distributed Kissan Credit Cards (KCC) among the beneficiaries of Branch Unit Manwal, Majalta and Khoon.
Cluster Head informed that 10424 KCC cards amounting to 555 lakh have been sanctioned in the district.
Meanwhile, RSETI, Baramulla concluded its training programme on “Entrepreneurship Development”, which was attended by 40 candidates.
The Bank’s President Nayeemullah was the chief guest on the occasion.
“All the candidates have been asked to report at their nearest J&K Bank Branch unit to get hassle free loan so as to establish their own income generating units”, Bank’s president said while awarding certificates to the 10th batch of trainees at Institute Office, Sopore.
Institute Director, Riaz Ahmad Mir said, out of 367 candidates trained at this institute, 91 per cent have established their units and 67 percent of these have availed finance from the banks.
