J&K Bank holds meet with car dealers to boost vehicle finance business

SRINAGAR, May 13: To strengthen its vehicle finance business and expand retail lending partnerships, J&K Bank today organised an interaction programme with authorised car dealers from across Kashmir at its Corporate Headquarters here.
A statement said representatives of major automobile brands, including Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors, Mahindra, Kia, MG Motor and Toyota participated in the programme.
The discussions focused on the Bank’s car loan products, dealership partnership framework and measures to improve automobile financing in the region.
General Manager (Retail, Agriculture & MSME) Rakesh Magotra said the automobile sector plays an important role in economic activity and consumer aspirations, adding that stronger engagement with dealers would help provide seamless and affordable finance facilities to customers.
During the programme, the Bank highlighted key features of its car loan scheme including interest rates starting from 7.70 per cent, repayment tenure up to 84 months, flexible eligibility norms, family income pooling facility and financing for insurance, registration charges and accessories.
Special benefits for Government employees, pensioners and high net-worth individuals were also discussed.
The participating dealers appreciated the initiative and expressed confidence that stronger collaboration with the Bank would help improve vehicle sales and customer convenience in availing finance facilities.
