JAMMU, Oct 7: Patron JK Amity Council and Member Apex Committee to Government Sanjay Saraf has warned the R&B Department against the demolition of migrant houses in Shalyar Habba Kadal.
In a statement issued here today he said the houses belonging to KP community are being demolished on the instance of land mafia who want to grab this prime land in nexus with a senior NC leader.
Mr Saraf said that it is unfortunate that on the one hand the Chief Minister has given assurance to displaced Pandits in Apex Committee that all steps will be taken to restore their land and return of the displaced people to Valley while on the other hand the NC leaders in league with land mafia are working against the Government’s commitment.
