UDHAMPUR, July 24: Inhabitants of village Jib and adjoining area are suffering a lot as their main road continues to remain in worst condition with big potholes because of no repair and black topping since years
Aggrieved over no action of the concerned authorities, hundreds of villagers of Jib Majalta, Padanoo, Manmala, Nili Nallah, Bal Nagar, Mongraly Ashram, Bdola and Kambal Danga today protested for repair of the road, which links these areas to Katra Vaishno Devi and Udhampur on the other side.
A three kilometer stretch of this MES road from Jib Morh to Jib Chowk is in worst condition with big potholes.
Holding demonstration against district administration and MES authorities for not repairing the road, the protesting people raised slogans and threatened to block the National Highway if black topping of this road is not done immediately.
