JAMMU, Nov 15: Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Research (JIAR), Nardani, Jammu today organized a free medical camp under the supervision of Dr KK Kapoor at Raipur in Block Bhalwal.
During the camp, an expert team of Medicines, Surgery, and Gynecology examined about 231 patients. The team observed that this particular area of Bhalwal Block has maximum number of Anaemic patients that too children below the age of 12 years and ladies of the age 20 to 40 years.
Similarly, good numbers of patients were suffering from skin, Osteoarthritis and eye diseases. The other patients, who attended the camp, were diabetic.
All the patients of different categories were properly examined and given free medicines. Some of the patients were advised to come to JIAR Hospital, Nardani for special investigations like X- ray and Bio-Chemical Tests of blood that too free of cost.
The other experts who rendered their services were Dr Vishal Khanna, Dr Twinkle Gupta, Dr Jagmeet Kour. PG scholars, Dr Rakhi, Dr Rozy, Dr Abineet and Dr Himakshi Raina also attended the camp.
Dr Gaurav Sharma, Dr Amandeep Gupta, Dr Arjun Gupta, Dr Paramdeep Singh, Dr Gagandeep Kaur, Dr Nisha Chandani, Dr Drakshan, Dr Sujata and Dr Sakshi (internees) provided assistance in the camp. Pharmacists, Usha and Nisha also assisted in the camp.
