Jhajjar Kotli to be developed as major tourist spot: Wazir

JHAJJAR KOTLI, Dec 17: Bahujan Samaj Party State general secretary and candidate Nagrota Assembly constituency Rakesh Wazir during his tour to Nagrota constituency took a public meeting at Jhajjar Kotli, today.
At public meeting, Wazir said that Jhajjar Kotli being nearest to Katra would be developed as major tourist spot, if he becomes the MLA of the constituency and every effort would be made to enhance the very low paid compensation of land taken by National Highway authorities besides rehabilitation of the markets and people who had been un-employed due to the coming up of this new highway at Nagrota, Nandni, Suketar, Jhajjar Kotli , Manthal etc.
Wazir lambasted the BJP which represents this constituency and NC-Congress which are ruling this State since long for completely ignoring the beautiful all the tourist and religious spots of Nagrota constituency including Jhajjar Kotli which could have been developed as major tourist spot and one crore Vaishnodevi visiting pilgrims could have been easily diverted, by which the employment and revenue generation to the area could have been possible, changing the equations of constituency as well.
Wazir further said these leaders did nothing else except putting name plates and making false promises for different projects which never came to light.
BSP leader said that though the compensation of the National Highway was to be paid by the Central Government but categorically the State Government recommended their rates for Jammu region so low.
The public meeting among others was addressed by Capt Shiv Lal Dhingra, Satish Baru, Sonu Baru, Madhu Charak, Sanjay Singh, Raghuveer Singh, Tifru, Babloo, and Kaka Ram.
