NOWSHERA, July 16: Police booked a Junior Engineer of Public Works Department for his alleged misbehavior with an SPO posted at Nowshera Police Station.
As per the FIR, registered in this connection, SPO Akhlaq Ahmed was misbehaved by JE Ramesh Chandra after the former raised objection over entry of the latter’s car in no parking zone. The JE allegedly abused the SPO and manhandled him thus creating a high voltage drama on the scene for about two hours.
Taking cognizance of the matter, Police registered an FIR (number 166/22) against the JE under sections 353, 186, 504, and 506 of IPC at Police Station Noushera
SHO Rajesh Jasrotia said that FIR has been registered against the JE for taking the law in hands and stopping an employee from performing duty. However, no arrest was made till filing of the report.
