REASI, July 16: A day long awareness cum mobile eye check up camp was organized in collaboration with Rotary Eye Hospital Udhampur and Motor Vehicle Department Reasi under the supervision of ARTO Rajesh Gupta for drivers here today.
As many as 154 drivers were checked out of which six were found having some issues related to low vision and night blindness
The ARTO said that transport Department will organise many more such camps in near future.
After concluding the camp, the ARTO Reasi intensify checking on same route for overcharging and other violations and compounded a total of 32 vehicles and raised a sum of Rs 52500 as fine from the different violators under MVA
