JAMMU, Aug 9: In order to address the grievances of the employees, Vice-Chairman Jammu Development Authority R K Shavan has constituted two committees with the direction to furnish requisite details in a time bound manner.
In view of charter of demands of the employees, a committee of Director Land Management, Financial Advisor and Chief Accounts Officer, Superintending Engineer and Secretary JDA has been constituted.
The committee has been asked to look into the demands and make recommendations within a week’s time. The committee will hear the group of employees/stakeholders and also submit the same to the VC.
Vide another order, the VC constituted a committee of Director Land Management, Financial Advisor and CAO, Secretary and Deputy Secretary JDA to work out the modalities and prepare the cases of the employees for Departmental Promotion Committee meeting and settlement of cases under SRO-43.
This committee has been asked to accomplish the task within a period of one month.
Stating that no stone will be left unturned to redress the grievances of employees, Vice-Chairman has advised the agitating employees to resume their duties. “I am also the guardian of their genuine demands and those pertaining to JDA will be resolved immediately and others will be taken up with the higher authorities”, he added.
