JDA removes unauthorized constructions, hoardings

JAMMU, Mar 22: The Enforcement Wing of Jammu Development Authority (JDA) stopped the unauthorized constructions and hoardings.
As per the directions of Vice Chairman, JDA, Mubarak Singh, an anti-encroachment drive was carried out under the supervision of Director Land Management, JDA Suraj Rakhwal comprising of Tehsildar JDA Zone (A) Tarsem Lal, Chief Khilafwarzi Officer Narinder Singh, Parshotam Kumar, Booti Singh Khilafwari Inspectors Ram Lal Girdawar, Sanjeev Kumar Dheeraj Kumar, Shazad Mughal Patwaris and field staff.
At village Toph Sherkhania, some people had illegally raised compound wall on JDA land covering an area of approximately 2 Kanals, which was demolished as per the verification of land title by JDA revenue staff. At village Keran, the steel shed raised by nomad families was also demolished. In the case of work being undertaken in the backside of Radha Swami Satsang Ghar, the work was stopped as the land in question has been reportedly belonging to JDA, after a strong resistance from the alleged encroachers.
