JDA planning to develop Housing Colony at Nagrota

JAMMU, June 14: Vice Chairman, Jammu Development Authority, Satesh Nehru along with team of senior officers of JDA visited the Khanpur Idle Bus Stand Parking, Kore Jagir, Migrant Quarters and KHN Hospital at Nagrota. Senior Architect briefed the Vice Chairman about the proposals for the land available in these areas.
At Khanpur Idle Bus Stand Parking, Vice Chairman directed the Chief Town Planner to carve out some more shops/ sites which will be put to auction so that a good revenue can be generate for JDA.
At Kore Jagir, Vice Chairman directed the concerned officers and revenue officers to demarcate the 175.13 Kanals of State land transferred to JDA and fence it properly so that it can be saved from the encroachers and utilized in a proper way.
Vice Chairman directed the Chief Town Planner, JDA to submit the proposal for  development of flatted accommodation/residential colony for EWS category people at Kore Jagir, Migrant camp Nagrota and also propose shops opposite Army camp at Nagrota. Chief Khilaf warzi officer was directed to make the land free from all encroachments.
Superintending Engineer was directed to put JDA sign boards on the entire land by fencing it with barbed wire. During the tour Vice Chairman, JDA was accompanied by Superintending Engineer, Director Land Management, Chief Town Planner, Senior Architect, Executive Engineer, Tehsildar Zone-B and Chief Khilafwarzi Officer etc.
