JAMMU, Sept 10: Acting tough against the encroachers of its land, Jammu Development Authority (JDA) today conducted an anti-encroachment drive and demolished illegal residential structure built over JDA land in Khasra No. 86, village and Tehsil Bahu.
An FIR bearing no. 74/2020 was lodged against the encroachers.
The demolition was conducted under the guidance of Babila Rakwal, Vice Chairperson JDA and under close supervision of Puneet Sharma, Director Land Management JDA.
The enforcement team was headed by Shruti Bhardwaj, Tehsildar (Estate Officer/Chief Enforcement Officer, JDA Zone -C) and comprised of Rajinder Kumar, KWI; Naresh Kumar, KWI; Thoru Mohd, KWI; Rajinder Singh Chowdhary KWI, JDA; Mohd. Ishtiaq, Patwari JDA besides SHO Bahu Fort, Kirti Sharma and Sham Singh Manhas, Naib Tehsildar, Digiana who remained present on the spot as Duty Magistrate.
