JAMMU, Sept 16: Jammu Development Authority (JDA) carried out anti-encroachment drive in Bahu area and removed the encroachment from JDA land and also seized material dumped over the land by encroachers in presence of Executive Magistrate deputed by Deputy Commissioner, Jammu.
The anti encroachment drive was carried out under the supervision of Director, Land Management, JDA and Chief Khilafwarzi Officer. In order to carry out the encroachment drive effectively the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) also actively participated. The JMC Commissioner deputed JCB/tipper and man power for assisting the JDA in removing the encroachment.
The Senior Superintendent of Police, Jammu provided police assistance by deputing strong contingent of police personnel including lady police and JDA land was retrieved from encroachers.
