JD (S) for celebrating Oct 26 as Accession Day

JAMMU, Oct 25: Janta Dal (S) today appealed the people of the J&K to celebrate Oct 26 as Accession Day and asked the State Government to declare the day as State holiday and celebrate it officially.
Addressing the party meeting held here today, Mast Nath Yogi, State JD(S) president, also extended support to the Government action regarding dismissal of anti-national empl-oyees of the State Government, who were involved in the anti-national activities and provoked employees for strike in the Valley and other parts of the State.
The party leaders also expressed their support to the Sate administration in taking action against police personnel, who deliberately handed over their weapons to the militants. Besides, they demanded regularization as well as release of salary of adhoc employees of PHE Depart-ment, who are on strike for a long time.
