JAMMU, Mar 9: In order to ensure smooth conduct of final examinations of Class X and XII, being conducted by State Board of School Education (BOSE), Joint Direction, School Education Jammu, Charandeep Singh joined by CEO Jammu today inspected exam centres located in Higher Secondary Schools of Muthi and Domana area.
The officials during inspection enquired from students arrangements made for their taking examinations including proper seating arrangements, availability of potable water, public conveniences, lighting and also availability of adequate stationery.
They also ensured that the staff including teachers of particular schools, who are not on exam duty, where examinations centres have been made, are staying off. This arrangement has been done for the first time only to discourage reported cheating or impersonation by anyone.
To ensure fair conduct of examinations and check impersonation, hall tickets of students taking their exams were also checked randomly. The staff including invigilator and Superintendents and Deputy Superintendents besides Supervisors were asked to strictly adhere to code of conduct and give exams as per the rules laid down.
Joint Director, Charandeep Singh while speaking to students and staff also encouraged children and advices them to not to panic and do their best. He said that without caring for end result, they must perform according to their abilities and prepare for next examinations without any burden.
Later, the officials also checked security arrangements and expressed their satisfaction.
