JAMMU, Dec 27: The convenor J&K Joint Consulative Committee of State employees and president Civil Sectt Non-Gazetted Employees Union, Rauf Ahmed Bhat has issued an appeal to the Government to address the pending issues of the employees and implement the agreement of September 2011.
In a press statement issued here today, Mr Bhat urged the Government to take cognizance of the hardships of the employees and resolve their pending issues. He demanded an early action with regard to implementation of the agreement of Sept 2011 as promised by Cabinet Sub Committee, enhancement of medical allowance from Rs 300 per month to Rs 1000, reorganization of services, release of 10 % DA and treating of two days strike period/ dies-non period as on duty in favour of concerned employees.
Mr Bhat appealed all the formations of employees to get united for their common cause. He claimed that employees believe in getting their issues resolved in peaceful and dignified manner, avoiding any sort of confrontation. The Government should also show some flexibility and come out itself in sorting out the difficulties of the working class.
