JCC demands implementation of 7th Pay Commission

JAMMU, July 10: The State Government Employees Joint Consultative Committee has expressed its strong resentment over the Chief Minister’s statement to put on hold the implementation of 7th Pay Commission recommendations for two years.
In this regard, a joint meeting of the leaders of EJAC, led by EJAC (K) and EJAC (Q) was held at Jammu under the chairmanship of S Amrik Singh.
All the leaders of JCC, namely Balwinder Singh, Ganesh Khajuria, Dharminder Singh, Darshan Sharma, Amrik Singh Sasan, Ravi Singh Bahu, Gopal Singh, Jagdish Sharma, Ravinder Singh, Uttam Chand Sharma, Rajinder Gupta, Umar Jan, Nazir Ahmed Bhat, Subash Sharma, Balbir Rahi, Amrik Singh Chib, Deedar Singh, Chaman Lal Raina, and others participated in the meeting.
JCC members said that it was very unfortunate on part of the Coalition Govt that it enhanced the salary of MLAs, MLCs and Ministers to double besides, many more facilities without wasting any time while on the other hand the employees who are back bone of the Government, are being deprived of the 7th Pay Commission.
While addressing the meeting, S Balwinder Singh and  Ganesh Khajuria appealed the State Government employees to remain united under the banner of JCC for struggle to get the 7th Pay Commission recommendations implemented.
