JCC delegation calls on RRC

JAMMU, Aug 17: A delegation of Coordination Committee  (JCC) Jagti Township led by its president Ravi Zutshi called on Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner (RRC), M L Raina here today and discussed the issues of Kashmiri migrants with him.
The delegation also submitted a memorandum to RRC highlighting the various problems of migrants especially of those who are living in Jagti township and stressed that these issues be solved immediately.
The delegation demanded holding of elections in the Jagti township to enable the inmates to project the problems being faced by them before the Government. It also demanded enhancement of relief per family, relaxation of recruitment rules for migrants, construction of new water supply scheme as old one is defunct, settlement of burning issues like medical aid to sick patients, providing of medical facilities to the 40 bedded Jagti Hospital, bifurcation of ration cards, renovation and repairs of quarters.
S N Gurtu, A K Lidhoo, Chand Ji Pandita and Ajay Rajkapoor were among the other members of the delegation.
