JAMMU, July 28: A delegation of Jagti Coordination Committee (JCC) called on Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, R K Pandtia here today and discussed various issues pertaining to inmates of Jagti camp with him.
The issue of drinking water supply, repairs of gate and sub Centre, providing of generator set to Higher Secondary School, Jagti, speedy work on construction of shops and the community hall was discussed.
Besides, the RC was urged to construct the dug wells in the camp. The delegation was informed by RC that the issue has already been taken up by him with concerned authorities. And they will visit Jagti soon for survey in this regard.
The delegation also discussed the issue regarding enhancement of cash relief and renovation of quarters. The RC informed the delegation that the tenders for renovation have been floated and the decision regarding hike in cash assistance is to be taken by the Government and his office has already made a recommendation in this regard.
The issue of voter lists was also discussed by the delegation who alleged that the names of voters and their residential address are not included properly.
The delegation members included Ravi Zutshi, Chand Ji Pandita, Sanjay Raina, Raj Kapoor, Annu Koul and Ashok Labroo.
