AMBALA, May 19: A Principals’ meet organized by the Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT) was held here today.
The event brought together school principals, academic leaders, and educators for meaningful discussions on the future of education and innovation-driven learning in India.
The programme was conducted under the visionary leadership of CEO, JUIT, Manu Bhaskar Gaur. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Vice Chancellor of JUIT, Prof Rajendra Kumar Sharma.
The Principals’ meet was organized in association with the Ambala Progressive Sahodaya School Council and the Haryana Progressive Schools’ Conference.
Key dignitaries and collaborators included Dr Vikas Kohli, Prashant Munjal, Saurabh Kapoor and Pawan Acharya.
During the event, Prof Rajendra Kumar Sharma shared his valuable experiences and insights on technical learning, innovation-driven education and the evolving role of higher educational institutions in preparing students for future technological challenges.
His address inspired the participants and emphasized the importance of practical learning, research orientation, and strong industry-academia collaboration in shaping future-ready professionals.
Pawan Acharya highly appreciated the extraordinary academic environment, disciplined culture and value-based ecosystem being nurtured at JUIT.
He highlighted how the university is successfully integrating Indian traditions, ethics, and cultural values with modern technological education to create responsible, innovative, and socially aware future leaders.
Dr Kohli emphasized the need of STEM education and he also mentioned that teaching of students is directly associated with the teaching and learning practices of teachers and principals. A highly insightful technical talk was delivered by Prof Tiratha Raj Singh on the theme, “Transforming Education: STEM Leadership under NEP 2020”.
The meet served as an important platform for interaction, collaboration and exchange of ideas between JUIT and leading educational institutions. Participants appreciated the university’s commitment toward academic excellence, innovation, research and transformative education.
Dr Ankush Tanta, Admission Officer, JUIT and Praveen Kumar, Admission Coordinator, JUIT played a strong supportive role in the successful organization and coordination of the event.
