RAJOURI, Aug 17: An Army jawan was injured when his own service rifle went off accidentally in Jhangar area this afternoon.
Official sources said that Sepoy Khushal Singh from 27 Rajputana Rifles was cleaning his gun at a forward post in Jhagar area. Suddenly, a bullet hit him causing serious injury. He was shifted to Rajouri Army hospital. A court of inquiry has been ordered by senior Army officers.
