Jat youth deserve OBC status for better future: Ch Manmohan Singh

SAMBA, Dec 27: All India Jat Maha Sabha President, Choudhary Manmohan Singh expressed satisfaction and pride over the Jat community youth playing a vital role in guarding the nation on borders as well as in the hinterland.
Addressing a community gathering at Khour Nandpur in Vijaypur, the Jat leader yet again voiced in high pitch the demand for granting the OBC status to the Jat community before the forthcoming elections to J&K Assembly. He also announced that the Jat Mahasabha will support only that political party in the elections which comes forward to achieve OBC status for the Jats of Jammu and Kashmir.
He said in present era several youth of Jat community serving the nation on IAS and IPS posts. He added that most the Jat community is residing on border areas. He impressed upon the members of the Jat community to understand how OBC status is necessary for the bright future of their children. “Our children are fully competent and till date they are found serving only in the belt forces because of their physique and warrior abilities”, he stated.
Meanwhile, a committee was constituted by the Jat Mahasabha in which Choudhary Prem Pal Pala was nominated as President and Sukhjinder Singh Pola was nominated as Vice President of Vijaypur Constituency. Tilak Raj Choudhary was appointed as Vijaypur Tehsil President and Sarain Choudhary and Yashpal Choudhary were appointed as Vice Presidents.
Sarpanch Roop Chaudhary was nominated as President of Ramgarh Tehsil, Sarpanch Kali Dass and Prakash Chaudhary as Vice Presidents and Ramesh Chaudhary (Ramgarh) and Prakash Chaudhary (Dag Chhani Fatwal) were appointed as Executive Members.
Ricky Choudhary was appointed as President of Youth Wing of Vijaypur Tehsil while Randeep Choudhary (Repu) was appointed as Vice President, Kashmir Singh as President Youth Wing Ramgarh Tehsil, Surinder Singh and Bhaskar Randhawa as Vice Presidents and Anil Kumar, Kewal Chaudhary, Tony Nagra and Binder Singh were nominated as Executive Members. BDC Chairman, Choudhary Darshan Lal was also present during the community gathering.
