JAMMU, Aug 28: Three day long “Jan Sampark Abhiyan” organised by Arya Pratinidhi Sabha, J&K concluded.
During the “Jan Sampark Abhiyan”, the delegation of Arya Pratindhi Sabha, visited all Arya Samajs in the State particularly in Srinagar to chalk out a programme of their repairs and renovation so as to start regular rituals. The members also made the people aware about forthcoming International Arya Sammelan-Delhi” from October 25 to 28.
Disclosing the details, Bharat Bhushan Arya, president, Arya Pratinidhi Sabha, J&K, informed that the delegation started its “Jan Sampark Abhiyan” by performing Hawan at Arya Samaj Bakshi Nagar. After that, the delegation proceeded to Udhampur where number of people and students of DAV School joined Shobha Yatra, he added.
The delegation performed the first time holy Hawan in the compound of Arya Samaj Jogi Lanker, Rainawari, after migration of Hindus from the Valley, he said, adding that thereafter the delegation visited all Arya Samajs and associated DAV school and other educational institutions of Srinagar. He said that they have already taken up the matter with the State Government to get such properties vacated and hand over their possession to them so that these properties could be brought into proper use.
The delegation met members of Arya Samajs at Poonch, Dalogra, Rajouri, Nowshera, Lamberi and Akhnoor, Dhinde Kalan, RS Pura and Kathua, he added.
Bharat Bhushan Arya was accompanied by Praksh Arya, secretary, Viney Arya, deputy secretary of Sarvdeshik Arya Pratinidhi Sabha Delhi, Rakesh Chouhan, secretary, Opender Krishan deputy secretary, Chuni Lal Arya, Tej Krishan, members, Arya Pratinidhi Sabha, J&K and representatives from different Arya Samajs of J&K namely Gian Chand, Chain Lal Shastri, Kul Yash Malhotra and Sharda Chouhan.
