POONCH, Mar 3: National Conference today flayed State Government for leaving border residents on the mercy of God and said that promises made with border people by ruling BJP and PDP have fallen flat with claims of bunker construction in border areas still to see light of the day.
While addressing a public meeting in border village of Khari Karmara Poonch, Youth National Conference provincial president Ajaz Jan said that number of villages located in border areas of Poonch are under crisis of basic amenities with whole system on God’s mercy.
Castigating both PDP and BJP for making false promises with border populations, Jan said that both the parties made big promises with border population before polls and now leaders of party are missing from ground and public is suffering.
He further castigated government for ignoring the demand of distribution of solar lights in border villages.
