Jamwal takes stock of sanitation facilities in Town Hall

JAMMU, Nov 9: Chairman Health and Sanitation Committee (H&SC) of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Narinder Singh Jamwal on Tuesday directed the sanitation officials to make the Town Hall Complex perfectly clean.
While inspecting the Town Hall Complex and taking stock of sanitation facilities in the vicinity, Jamwal said that making Jammu City the cleanest and the greenest one can only become possible when the place from where such things are conceived and executed becomes clean first.
“Town Hall complex being the central point of the activities of JMC will prove out to be a misnomer in case the place is not kept clean, green and serene,” he maintained urging the general public to contribute in maintaining cleanliness during visit to the Town Hall complex.
Jamwal gave special emphasis on sanitation of public convenience complex situated within the vicinity of Town Hall complex and said that concerned officials should ensure that the place remains clean and litter-free as this is significant for showing other stakeholders to work with zeal and utter professionalism.
He said that hundreds of people visit Town Hall for their day-to-day work and it is the responsibility of H&SC to ensure perfect cleanliness here.
The Chairman asked the concerned officials to shun lethargy and start working with extreme precision because need of the time is to work meticulously and achieve results within stipulated time.
